Mirror Signs

How our mirror house signs are made

Each mirror house sign pairs laser-cut mirror acrylic lettering with a 3 mm acrylic backing plate. The characters are laser cut from mirrored acrylic and fixed flush to the plate, so they catch daylight and car headlights and stand out without any power source, and with no raised edge for dirt to gather against.

You choose two things: the plate colour (black or grey) and the lettering finish (gold, rose gold or silver). That gives six combinations, each with eight layouts covering a number alone or a number with a street name.

Sizes

• 200 × 130 mm: a neat plaque for a number or short name beside the door.
• 280 × 160 mm: more room for longer wording and easier to read from the pavement.

Both sizes are available on every product page under the Size option. A mirror sign looks best where it can catch light: a front wall, porch or gate post that gets daylight or is lit by a porch lamp. If your address is unlit at night, look at the solar mirror signs, which combine the same lettering with automatic illumination.

Fixing, care and dispatch

Each sign is supplied with two standoffs, two screws and two wall plugs, the same fixings as our composite signs, and is made for permanent outdoor use on a wall, gate post or porch. Clean with a soft damp cloth and avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners, which scratch mirrored acrylic. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays) are dispatched the same day; later orders go out the next working day. Delivery is free and tracked, to UK addresses only.
